Truth of Pain



When I pen

this shard of reflection,

that is in my heart wedged.

It will filter

but all perfection;

That is a promised pledged.

But naught who care

see heart's affliction,

in their ignorance insult.

To arms they'll call

my vile conviction

to save your kindness worshiping cult.
